Salam...

Semalam berborak dengan kawan baru tentang nama sweetpea. Macam² yang dia tanya. But then pea malas nak jawab, pea suh dia tanya pakcik Google je. Maka dia pon browse dan jumpa la mcm² info ttg sweetpea ni. Dan kemudian tawu la dia. Erm...Lupa plak nak tanya apa makna nama dia. Haish tak aci neh. Harus ditanya ni. Fuh~

Berbalik semula pada cerita td. Meh Pea cerita serba sedikit asal usul nama sweetpea neh. Ceritanya bermula masa pea nak carik satu nama tuk nickname untuk berchatting. (Ehem! Masa tuh baru abis blaja and tgh gila nak berchatting. Harap maklum sbb kebanyakkan orang begitu oke. ;p) Masa tuh mmg takde idea nak guna nama apa. But then berborak ngan pakcik Google ttg nama bunga. Browse punya browse punya browse maka terberkenan lak ngan satu bunga ni. Then tgk nama dia cam best lak. And rasa² cam sesuai je ngan tuan punye badan. (Ngeh!) Maka nama itu pon digunakan lah sampai sekarang. Dah dalam 4 - 5 tahun rasanya guna nama ni. Sweetpea - a flowering plant in the genus Lathyrus in the family Fabaceae (legumes), native to the eastern Mediterranean region from Sicily east to Crete. It is an annual climbing plant, growing to a height of 1-2 m where suitable support is available. The leaves are pinnate with two leaflets and a terminal tendril, this twining round supporting plants to help it climb. The flowers are purple, 2-3.5 cm broad, in the wild plant, larger and very variable in colour in the many cultivars. Unlike most peas, the seeds of the sweet pea are poisonous as they contain several toxins that prevent the cross linking of collagen by inhibiting lysyl oxidase. Because of these toxins, ingestion of sweet peas by humans or livestock may lead to a disease known as odoratism, or sweet pea lathyrism.
